I suspect it may have been originally wrapped in Chinese red though it is currently wrapped brown with darker brown edges and an extra band of yellow and brown at the keeper and male ferrules

The rod is from the Ted Williams signature series of fly fishing tackle

The ferrules are size 11/64 and 17/64 with a perfect fit
