Form remains intact; the characteristic fan shape is preserved, with a pronounced division at the centre. Drying produces slight curling along the outer rim. The surface contracts unevenly, emphasising the fine radiating veins. Structure holds. No tearing observed. Copper adheres first at the stem attachment, then progresses outward across the leaf. The veins guide its
