Eupatorium perfoliatum (Common Boneset) Salt Tolerant Tier 2: Quarterly Land StewardshipEupatorium perfoliatum (Common Boneset) blooms with relatively flat and fragrant flowers late in the summer. The light green leaves are slightly unusual, where they fully clasp the hairy stems, which is where it gets the name perfoliatum for its perfoliate leaves. It prefers full to part sun situations in wet mesic soils and can be an excellent rain garden plant. Pollinators love their blooms. Sun Exposure Prairie Savanna Soil Conditions Wet, Wet
