Fabulous Old Cushion Cut Oval Diamond in Platinum Ring diamond_platinum Age: 1905 Art nouveauDescription: The most gorgeous twinkly old cut stone. Its a fat little cushion cut measuring approx 5. 5x4. 5x3mm making it between 0. 5 and 0. 6 carats (conservatively its a bit hard to estimate old cuts, they have fat little bottoms, a wider culet and are cut differently to modern stones). It's an unusually good colour and clarity for an older stone, bright white and no visible inclusions. It does have the tiniest nibble on the girdle of the stone
