The red "C" is how it got its name from the Spanish when they saw the red colored earth

The three sailboats racing was a nod to how much these places are tied to the sea and sailing

I traced out the design in pencil over the map then painted all the colors at the same time using a wet on wet technique that allowed the colors to mix and blend

This added dimension makes it look like the original but for less money
