Gallatin Light Show night sky reflected in a small beaverMarch 23, 2023 was an incredible night in Montana. Northern lights lit up the sky in all directions for many hours. By anchoring my tripod in the Gallatin River, I was able to capture a beautiful mix of lights and clouds above Storm Castle. Soft shades of green and salmon were reflected in the water in front of me, while snow clad limbs of fir provided nice contrast along the bank.
