This "1955" marking was subsequently removed by Jim to preserve the rod's originality

Bogdan Trout Reel Narrow Spool 5'6" You'd be hard-pressed to findA nice Bogdan trout reel, set up for LHW. This is the narrower trout model with a 3 1 4" diameter and 3 4" spool width, designed to carry a #5 line. Used condition with normal cosmetic signs of use but excellent mechanically. The rims have some modest rim rash and the normal small dings here and there. The plates are in generally good condition with a few very minor scratches. The foot has some mounting marks on it from use but is perfectly straight.
