St. Louis, MO Early "celebrity endorsement" advertisement featuring the (at the time) world's largest horse named for and owned by Dr. D. L. LeGear. Dr. LeGear (the horse, not the man; but could you imagine) was measured to be 21 hands (7 feet) high and weighed 2995 lbs at his peak. The medication being advertised was a brand of well known livestock and poultry remedies, also bearing the LeGear name.
