The Eloise | 20" Vintage Purple/Pink Pearl & Garnet | St. Valentine Collection | One of Three emerald-cut Circa 1760’sThere is something about the magic of pearls. Pearlescence is singular in the world of gems; pearls don't have a refractive index, or clarity grading. As an organic matter they have only their luster and long labored shape to recommend them as adornments, but nothing could be better, per the recommendation of millennia of collectors.
