There were less than 30 "Bob Doerr" models ever made and I'm guessing this may rank near the top of the heap as far as condition goes

with the ferrules appearing to have been re-wrapped and the grip sanded

Serial #2655 with an approximate manufacture date of the early 1970's. The rod weighs 2. 4 ounces on my scale. Very lightly used condition, with no cosmetic cracks to the ferrule wraps, no grip soiling, but there is a tiny bit of brassing to the inner snake guides, a bit of wear on the ferrule welt, and some oxidation that's rubbed off on the corner of the pocket
