This vase was a test for the various Ivory color variations on a Dark Ivory background

has a matte surface which removes the typical glossy glass finish

creating a lattice pattern

I'll sometimes add a "Drizzle" of that color to see how it works with the ivory

Here some copper chalcedony was placed in a freeform pattern over the fossil design. The bottom was dipped in Green chalcedony. There is some planning that goes into these pieces, but it often times needs a little extra something before I can stop!
