New Mexico Flag Map (canvas wrap) Size:30" x 40" Finally I added the splashThe original New Mexico Flag Map was painted on a road map of New Mexico. I painted it using thin washes of acrylic paints that allow the map to show through. I painted the background first and allowed it to dry. I then traced out the Zia symbol, painted it and then added the gold raised spiral to the center of the Zia.
