The Foundry - Grenache Blanc truffle made from old vines onThe Foundry is the project of Meerlust winemaker Chris Williams, and this Grenache Blanc is its most celebrated wine and a multiple Platter's 5 Star award winner. Fruit comes from trellised vines on Malmesbury shale and decomposed granite in Voor Paardeberg, with a third each fermented in oak, terracotta and stainless steel. The result is a lush, balanced, full bodied dry white with floral notes, ripe white fruit and a long, mineral finish.
