Winston Limited Edition "Vintage" 3/4 Trout Fly Reel/Spool Set Gary Howells A must-have for the salmon

A must-have for the salmon tyer

Pot-belly ferrules with patent date

The preset drag is precisely set to prevent spool overrun and features a loud outgoing click

I suspect that this makes this rod one of a kind as I don't know of any others that have received similar treatment

The action is a wonderful medium-fast dry-fly with plenty of authority thanks in part to the swelled butt

Winston Limited Edition "Vintage" 3/4 Trout Fly Reel/Spool Set Gary Howells A must-have for the salmonFor sale here is a R. L. Winston Co. "Vintage" Limited Edition Trout Fly Reel made in the early 1990s by Siskiyou. This is the 3 4 model, complete with spare spool, reel oiler, and pine presentation box. Left hand retrieve. The reel appears in little used condition but the reel and spool need to be cleaned due to the disintegrated foam backing adhering to the aluminum surfaces. This should easily polish off. The spool capacity for the 3 4 is WF4+80.
