The attached saucer will catch a small amount of extra water; this planter was thrown as one piece. Approximately 4 5" in diameter at the rim. The glaze looks very different depending on the lighting. Pottery appearance (i. e. color) may be slightly different than online images due to my amateur photography skills and variation
