Flowering Raspberry — Giclée on Paper Artwork but the animal now inFlowering Raspberry Rubus odoratus in full bloom, the large magenta pink flowers vivid among the broad maple like leaves. This is one of the showiest of Ontario's native shrubs, a plant of forest edges and rocky outcrops that produces flowers disproportionately large for its modest stature. Glen rendered it with the botanical completeness he brought to all his wildflower subjects: the wrinkled petals, the clustered stamens, the specific leaf venation.
