but you can also hit with the back of the ax blade and cut with the front

The hauberk has long sleeves and reaches to the knee

At the back the skirt has a band that lets you tie the skirt like an apron around your waist

Maliën coif Alaric, gebronsd 9 mm Maat:S The crest on this helmetDe malin coif, of malinkap, verscheen ten minste vanaf de 11e eeuw n. Chr.. Men droeg malinkappen los of onder een helm. Op veel afbeeldingen zoals die van de Morgan Bijbel uit 1250 is te zien dat de malin coif nauwsluitend rond het hoofd gedragen wordt. Soms worden leren veters aan de bovenkant van de coif gebruikt om de vorm beter te laten aansluiten op het hoofd. Met leren veters kan de onderkant van de kraag ook worden vastgemaakt aan de gambeson
