Surveiling multiple cards lets you keep them on top of your library but re-order them how you see fit, while scrying multiple times can become redundant if you choose to keep a card on top early on
It then grants the equipped creature indestructible, and if you ever want to move it onto another creature, you can pay three mana to do so
